Albert Einstein has said “Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.” .
After reading this very meaningful quote, the first thing that struck my mind is what is " Value "? I kept thinking and then got a reply from my inner self .)
With word "Value " I want to associate two other words , "Ethics " and " Moral " These two words put together can give meaningful explanation to " Value "
"Value " is what affects our daily life. This we acquire from our childhood, from our parents, teachers and surroundings. This happens to all of us without much effort, it just becomes part and parcel of our initial life and helps in shaping it.
At a later stage when we face the world and play different roles in our life one very important quality one has to be in our life and that is "Ethics”.
Ethics is how we behave in tough times . Decisions taken to do nothing wrong are observed staunchly and not to get tempted to come out of tough times at the cost of your set of principles . It directly relates to human conduct , rightness and wrongness , decency and wickedness of our motives at the end of our every action . Simple thing is to listen to your inner voice and not your " mind " .
Morals hold great importance in building our life from the point of personal social and spiritual development. Truthfulness, honesty and forgiveness is key to inner happiness though it is difficult to put in daily life but to achieve higher consciousness it is the first step . These virtues will help you to free yourself from fear , superiority or inferiority complex and rudeness . These qualities will build your character and add Value to your life and many will be inspired .
